Current Status on TXDOT Sidney Baker Project/Highway 16
• Project started in November of 2005
• Total Project cost $18.7 million
• Contractor is Cherokee Bridge and Road, LTD.
• Job calendar is 565 days or 23 months ( currently 27% of times
used on project)
• City of Kerrville providing and additional $ 1.8 million dollars
of utility upgrades.
• 28 % of total project is completed.
• 7 million dollars of total project is underground and currently
work in section D to I-10 is 85% completed underground.
• Section B Barnett to Yorktown currently preparation for permanent
detour is near completion for construction work to begin in.
• Currently 35 million dollars of TxDot projects are ongoing in
Kerrville/Kerr County
• Estimated completion date set for November, 2007.
• Next TxDot meeting scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25th
@ Y.O. Conference Center.
Spur 98 Project
• Estimated completion date is around August 1st.
• Project cost 8.5 million dollars.
